Hello, and welcome to Spirit of Praise Ministries. We are excited to have you visit us!
We are a Ministry of Messianic Jew's and Gentiles who have a heavy heart for Souls...
The Lord has called us to directly reach out to our Jewish Brothers and Sisters, and
whoever else will listen to the Good News about Yeshua (Jesus) and Salvation.
We perform outreach to the Jewish People, Jew -To-Jew for Yeshua. Rather it be one on
one on street corners in Jewish neighborhoods, or inviting Jewish folks into our homes for
Torah and Tenach studies. To speak at Christian congregations to help them understand
their Hebraic roots, and to share with them the Biblical Mandate of "to the Jew first and
then to the Gentile".

Who Are We Anyway?
Sherri and Charles Nester - Sherri an RN, has wonderful healing gifts and has been in
nursing for 40 years. Her gifts of healing, song, teaching, counseling and discipleship are
evident to all those she meets.
Sherri has a strong desire to save souls for Yeshua, and shares with her patients and
staff whenever possible. Sherri has been called to heal bodies, minds and spirits in the
name of our Lord Yeshua wherever she is called.
Charles is retired from the water treatment industry, and receiving a strong call to ministry
and evangelism, having a burning desire to save souls and improve the lives of God's
children. Since serving in the Navy Chaplaincy Corp, in his 20's he has had a burning
desire to serve God in full time ministry. However being 4th generation Mormon, his
church taught him that they would tell him where and how he would serve. After 52 years
of service to the Mormon church, he committed his life to serving the Lord anywhere He
directs, not where a "religion" or a "man" directs.
Charles and Sherri have both been on the Lord's fast tract since accepting Him in the fall
of 2002. They currently serve in several ministries at their Messianic Synagogue, and
share with their testimony, love for God and desire to inspire Worship and Praise with
Christian groups and church congregations as the Lord provides them opportunity (see
our "about us" page)

A Little About What We Do
Sherri and Charles love to evangelize for the Lord. Rather it be one on one, in a Bible
Study, in a congregation or at a Revival. The Lord has called them to Preach, Teach and
Exhort for His sake.
They also have a great understanding of Praise and worship. Understanding that it is
through Prayer & Praise that we enrich and improve our lives and effect our families and
congregations for good. As such the mission of Spirit of Praise is to Evangelize the
Gospel, to the Jew first, and then to the Gentile.
To instill the concepts of Praising God and Worship to congregations, Messianic and
other Christian groups. To teach God's children how to overcome their baggage and free
up their minds, as Yeshua would have us all do.
Romans 12:2 "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind"
To teach God's disciples how to keep their children out of the cults. And to witness at
evangelistic and revival services.

the Messiah.

home Torah and Tenach studies, where Jewish neighbors, associates, friends, family
members and classmates, may be invited for small informal Torah/Tenach studies, in a
non-threatening environment. Where the Word of God will be studied, Jewish songs sang,
Hebraic music played and prayers given, all for the purpose of acquainting these people
with their Jewish roots and the Gospel of Yeshua, and to assist them in obtaining a

As Yeshua is strongly blessing the efforts of such groups through the ministries of Israel’s
Redemption and All Israel 20/20 we will adopt many of their methods, training and
materials for holding our in home studies. Coupled with sincere prayer over each brother
and sister who visits our studies, and with the supernatural healings and blessings that
have been accompanying such assemblies - we will see many come to Faith, and Unity
with the Body of Yeshua.
We also perform outreach by taking Messianic Rabbi's, Teachers, Davidic Singers,
Dancers & musicians into the heart of Jewish communities, and perform “on street
outreach” to our Jewish Brothers and Sisters.
We will as invited and inspired by the Ruach HaCodesh, go into Synagogues, and
sermonize on the Torah and Tenach Prophesies of the coming Messiah.
Also to Christian congregations to teach them on the Hebraic Roots of Christianity.
As well as to assist them in performing outreach to Jewish family, friends, work
associates, neighbors etc.
By remaining Humble before our Abba, and listening to the Ruach, we will see many come
to faith, and Unity with the Body of Yeshua. All to HIS Glory and Praise...
