Here briefly is our story

Charles was born third of 3 children to a fourth generation Mormon family in Idaho.  He served a 2 year LDS
mission in southern California. During which he was called upon to assist in the Chaplaincy corp with the US
Navy. Ministering to the Navy and Marine personnel at the Navel Training Center and Marine Corp Recruiting
Depot in San Diego, CA. Also ministering to the needs of the patients and staff at the Navel Hospital.  After
leaving the mission field he felt the call on his life to serve God in full time ministry.  He wanted to preach
when he returned.  However In the Mormon Church, the leaders tell you what your calling is and you do not
question it.  When Charles told his then Stake President, that he felt a strong desire to serve the lord in full
time ministry, He told him that the Lord would call him to the duties that he wanted him to serve Him in -
through the "Brethren" of the church, and not to question.  So being a good Mormon, Charles did not
question, he was taught not to.  However he felt unfulfilled no matter what he did in sectarian life.

About this same time, I was investigating the Mormon Church in Illinois, where I lived.  I had been born the
oldest of 4 to a farm family that had no real formal Christian training.  At the age of 15 I went to my boyfriend’s
church and gave my life to Jesus.  My family did not  go to church, but we joined a small country church that
taught us bible stories and little more.  I had been searching for more, so when the Mormon’s found me, I was
very ready to fall for their answers to all my long asked questions.  They all sounded and felt good.

Charles and I met in Idaho; after we had each had a marriage, children and divorce, about 11 years ago and
married each other.  We both had an earnest desire to serve God and thought we were doing so by having a
temple marriage and being sealed to our children.  We did everything we knew how to do to serve our God,
thinking the only way to do our best for God was to be very active serving others in the Mormon Church.  We
both had questions and doubts, but pushed them down, thinking we were right where we were supposed to
be.

We moved from Idaho to Utah in 1998, then to Salt Lake City in 1999.  We both felt something special would
happen in Salt Lake City.  We married off 2 of our children in the "Mormon Temple" and felt we were doing
well.  We were called by the Mormon Church to be Stake Missionaries, serving the people in our area, and
helping spread the gospel to those who were not Mormon.  We were excited and thought we were to serving
God as fully as we could at that time.

We found very little excitement about the Mormon gospel among the Mormons, especially those who held the
higher offices or callings.  We were discouraged and had many questions, but when we asked those
questions, we were shut down and told to stop questioning and follow the brethren.

Charles continued to question and got violent responses from those who were supposed to have God’s
anointing.  After much prayer and pondering, Charles had an experience with the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob.  His experience caused him to search for truth which helped him understand that Mormonism was not
true and he came to me.  I was open to the idea that if it was not true, the Mormons own history and writings
would contradict themselves enough and if I saw that I would also believe it was not true.  Charles had come
upon a web site
www.hismin.com.   Where Rauni and Dennis Higley taught from the original texts that she
had collected while she was a member and a translator for the church 20 years before.  After I saw the
original visions of Joseph Smith and the way everything had been distorted and cleaned up by the ongoing
Mormon prophets,  I too understood I had been lied to and fooled. Charles and I left the Mormon church in
November of 2002,  After our release, we were baptized and started our Christian walk with Yeshua (Jesus).

The Lord has given us a deep hunger for the truth, and is providing us with Godly mentors, who have and are
continuing to guide and feed us, as we progress in His service. Having a deep hunger for the Word, (which
we were told as Mormon's was flawed) we now are blessed to be learning the lessons of the Bible. Godly
Pastors, have blessed us in so many ways, with their insight and guidance. We have been ordained as
Reverend's of the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus Christ). We are now under the tutelage of very talented and
anointed Messianic Rabbi's of our Messianic community.  As well as anointed Elders in our congregations.

We are very thankful that our Lord is making excellent use of us in Ministry, both in our congregation and in
Spirit of Praise Ministries.  We feel very blessed to be currently be part of such a wonderful body of
worshipers. As well as to have been part of the different churches we have attended and been part of since
receiving salvation.  We have learned much and thoroughly enjoy serving Yeshua Adonai. As we are called to
speak, preach, exhort and share with groups and congregations throughout the US.
We are  excitedly looking forward to serving three month mission in Israel in the near future, to share Yeshua
HaMashiach  (Jesus the  Messiah) with our Jewish Brothers and Sisters.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set
before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children
may live and that you may love the LORD your GOD, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For
the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers,
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

We are currently holding Tanach studies in our home for both Gentile and Jewish folks, to give them the basis
from the Tanach (Old Testament.) of the need for and prophecies of the coming Messiah, our Lord Yeshua.
Allowing the Ruach (Spirit) of Adonai to move in them.  Successfully bringing our Jewish Brothers and
Sisters to a belief in Yeshua, making them Completed Jews. Praise Adonai !!
We look forward to sharing this wonderful tool with you and your congregations...
Romans 10:1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be
saved.
2For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.
3Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did
not submit to God's righteousness.
4Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness
for everyone who believes.
